George R.R. Martin wants to write for Marvel

In an interview with MTV Geek George R.R Martin went on the record to say that he wants to write comics for Marvel, specifically Dr. Strange. A big thanks to my mate Mitchell for linking me the article. He also pitched the question 'If you could write comics what character would you write?" to MTV Geek and promptly tweeted Martin's response to the big wigs at Marvel.

Seriously, they'd be idiots not to pursue this. Game of thrones is big business right now, you could whack 'winter is coming' on a rock and people would line up to buy it. If Martin wrote Dr. Strange comics I'd  bet my life on the fact they'd sell out. Plus it would also be a great way to re-energise the often over looked character. So Marvel get on this, before some other publisher does!
